Over 50% off listing papers for UK business buyers right here at Officeprofiles.

Listing paper is sometimes referred to as sheet fed paper and is one of the old school members of the paper supplies family. It has however dropped in sales volumes from a great height over the last ten years due to two main reasons. Firstly listing paper is used to store records, figures, debtors, customer data - in fact anything at all that needs to be stored within a businesses operation, technology has basically taken over - electronic data storage is now the preferred solution and has removed the more traditional paper storage to a back seat position. Secondly, again with advancements in technology the introduction of economical, fast laser printing and inkjet printing means that any records printing that is needed in an office environment today is usually done of these modern, cost effective alternatives which use A4 copier paper rather than listing paper.

Choosing the correct listing paper;
Measure the depth of the paper sheet and then the total width (including the sprocket margins)
choose which perforation is right for you; unperforated, standard perf (for easy removal) or micro perforated (for a clean edge)
Music ruled - this listing paper is printed horizontally for easy 'left to right' scanning of printed accounts etc.

Another point to look for when selctinf which one of our listing papers will be correct for your usage needs is the perforations type (or indeed if the chosen paper has a perforation). Down the sides of all listing papers are small holes - these guide the sheets through your Dot matrix printer using the printers adjustable sprockets (see your printers individual manual or user handbook to see how to adjust your printers sprockets).

The only need for these holes is as mentioned to guide the sheets through the printer so once your documents have been printed in most cases these holes are no longer needed - hence the need for the holes being on the other side of the sheets perforations. The holes can simply be torn away from the actual document with either a standard perforation products of a microperforated listing paper. Microperforated listing paper gives a much smoother edge to your document when the sprocket holes have been torn away - this option is the best choice when the document is going to be in further use rather than simply filed away.

As well as listing paper we also offer a modest selection of home A4 photo paper and actual photo sized glossy paper for domestic family photos or even business image printing - ranges stock include; Kodak, Epson, Canon, HP, Lexmark and our own five star economy photo paper.

Coloured office paper is another top seller here at OP - with our ranges now covering just about every colour in the rainbow in many thicknesses. A4 tinted copier paper is the most popular with many businesses choosing to use this as a fax paper (this helps identify faxed documents from other documents in your office) - for larger presentations and company notices we also offer A3 coloured paper - again in different weights to suit.
