About us

Officeprofiles is solely a web based entity, supplying small to medium sized businesses throughout the UK with low cost office supplies and stationery. We have experienced staff on hand to talk to should you wish speak with us for product advice or help using our site.

We have over 30 years experience in the office supplies industry so we are are perfectly equipped to handle any size of customer from small one man businesses to large multinationals and with a broad range of customers from a spectrum of industries we make sure there are plenty of choices throughout our products range.

To make things as easy as possible for you we have divided our 18,500 products into colour coded departments on our site and with several different ways to search for what you are looking for on our home page you should find what you are looking for with ease.

Commonly asked questions:

Do I have to pay for my goods online?

No, many of our customers choose to open a business account for frequent trading; all business’s with an account at officeprofiles place their orders online and then receive an invoice via email which must be settled within 30 days from statement.

If I open a business account do I have to provide credit references?

Yes, we have strict policies for opening an account which must be accompanied by both trade references, all trade references will be followed up and applications are then credit checked via company’s house. All applications for accounts are answered within 24 hours (depending on trade references being available).

Should I register with officeprofiles? What does registration mean?

If you like our site and think you may wish to use our services then there are definitely some advantages to registering. All you have to do to register is fill in your company details and email address and each time you visit us you will have your own log in. Having your own log in gives you access to a number of features to our site, firstly you have the facility to create your own shopping list of those regular items that are required at your office which is there for you every time you log in, then you will be put on our mailing list to be kept informed of weekly promotions etc (optional).

Is registration the same as a business account?

No, the two are separate levels of user – everybody who uses our site gets the same prices but a business account with officeprofiles has to be applied for whereas registration with us is instant and you will receive your user name and passwords with seconds of registering.

Some internet companies don't encourage phone calls, can I ring officeprofiles?

Yes, the internet is great but we never forget it’s a human customer that’s using it, we have developed our site with user friendliness in mind so it should answer most of your questions on screen, however we recognise the need for a voice at the end of the phone to answer any extra concerns you may have so please do not hesitate to give our staff a call should you wish.

How do I return a product?

Simple, send us an email explaining the product code and the reason for return and we will collect it the next day free of charge (damaged or short delivered goods must be declared when returning products to officeprofiles).

Is delivery free?

Yes delivery is included in the price of all orders over £30 (ex VAT). All orders under £30 will incur a deliver charge of £6.95 + VAT. All backorders are delivered free of charge.

Is delivery next day?

Yes we deliver next day to anywhere in the UK and because we carry the ranges on our site in stock we currently perform on a 98% order fulfilment rate with most backorders delivered within a few working days.

I notice you offer free gifts at officeprofiles, how do I claim mine?

Easy, you get a choice of free gifts with any order over £50 and you get the gift delivered with the order (you must add it to the order at the checkout). Our free gifts will change from time to time giving you a fresh choice to select from. Also we offer a larger gift for those customers placing orders over £300 at officeprofiles (again these gifts need to be claimed at the checkout but they will be delivered separately to your order) These are known as our monthly offers and just like it says on the tin they will change from month to month.

If I forget to claim my free gift at the checkout can I still claim one?

Sorry no, the free gifts must be claimed at the checkout with the order so they can be delivered with the order.

What is a green product?

Green products are either recycled to some extent or they are helpful to people in the developing world, officeprofiles has its own environmentally friendly department dedicated to offering our customers over 2000 green products from a variety of product categories.

I don’t know which cartridges my machine takes?

Toners and cartridges are a minefield, there are so many to choose from its easy to get lost. We have developed our unique ‘toner search’ tool located on the right of the page which saves you all the hard work.
Simply select the manufacturer (e.g. HP or Brother) then select the machine type (e.g. fax machine) then select the model (e.g. DeskJet 320) all the machines and all the models are featured so using this filter will show you all the consumables that your machine takes.

Can I get a quote for bulk buying a particular product?

Throughout our site you will notice various discounts for buying larger quantities of a product. If you require a larger quantity of a product and it doesn’t have a quantity break then please contact us and we will apply one to that product for you to give you a better price.


How do I know if my order has been dispatched?

On our home page you will notice an icon titled ‘track my order’ (by the footprints). Once you have placed you order click on the footprints and you will be able to follow your order on its journey to your desk via our link with parceline.

Are my payment details safe?

Officeprofiles have one of the most secure payment systems available on the net. Through our secure payment provider your payment details go straight into the bank as soon as you input them exactly the same as when you pay with chip and pin at a retail outlet, the payment transaction is then authorised to us by our bank. We accept all major credit cards and switch/maestro cards.

What is officeprofiles price promise?

As we mentioned before, we have been selling office supplies for nearly 30 years and over that period of time we have obviously become aware of the most popular products that the office consumer purchases. We monitor all the major search engines on a monthly basis to price check nearly 500 commodity line products ensuring that you the customer gets the best prices possible here at officeprofiles.

It is however a fact of business that we are very occasionally going to be beaten on price on an individual product, however we remain convinced that because of our price check policy we are over all one of the lowest priced office supplies sites on the net.

Can I have a sample of a product?

Yes, there are samples available on a wide range of products from officeprofiles. Obviously not on machines and expensive items but things like files and paper etc are all available. Just contact us via email with your details along with the sample product code and we will do our best to raise the sample.
