Doodling at work now gets serious!!!

Office products giant BIC writing products is supporting a fantastic way to help out a needy charity whilst having great fun in your office. National Doodle Day 2008 is a charity campaign now in its fifth year which aims to raise funds for Epilepsy Action and the Neurofibromatosis Association. The idea is simple for the event, which will take place on Friday 7 March - ‘Just Doodle It’, that’s right it’s exactly as it sounds and thousands of people around the UK are expected to get involved. It is easy for you and your office co-workers to get involved; anyone can donate £1 for an official card which allows them to send in their doodle, which (if good enough) could get featured in the Bic online doodle hall of fame. BIC office products is specifically encouraging more schools around the country to get involved by donating £500 worth of office stationery products for doodles from the best secondary and primary schools. Marketing manager at BIC UK, Emma Lawley commented: “here at Bic we are delighted to be involved with the National Doodle Day, it is a fab event and raises funds for some very worthwhile causes. The theme for entering is really fun and simple, which appealed to BIC pens, as it enables all to get involved!” A celebrity doodle auction on auction website E-bay will provide an opportunity to acquire doodles drawn by a group of well known stars and celebrities, who are taking part in National Doodle Day.
